What Going Viral at 18 Taught Me About Real Influence

𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀…𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬𝗫 𝗶𝘁.

I 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 social media existed when I was in high school.

Before MySpace.

Yeah yeah — I’m showing my age.

But if you were there, 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘥 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘴.

Locally famous at 18.

No algorithm. Just pure energy, word of mouth, and impact.

That era taught me everything:

A) How to build inside a real community

B) The joy of sharing something simply because you believe in it

C) And most importantly — humility

To this day, when I touch a mic — speaking, performing, edutaining —

The world opens up.

I feel the pulse of the room.

And I find the root that connects us all — pain, power, purpose, or just needing that BOOST from the norm.

That’s my gift.

To light up a space — physical or digital — and leave people different than how I found them.

Now I want to use that same power to transform, not just entertain.

Whether it’s a 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁™ or 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵®, I want to leave you inspired, fired up, and ready to level up.
